45th Annual Dutch Diabetes Research Meeting 2019 (NVDO)
Many of our department members attended the Annual Dutch Diabetes Research Meeting on 28 and 29 November 2019 to present our efforts in type 2 diabetes research. A good way to catch up with the latest research from other Dutch universities in de diabetes field. Good job everybody!

Today was the annual NUTRIM symposium with the theme "Take a step back, to move forward". A program filled with interesting presentations and a full poster session during which some of our DMRG members also presented. This is always a good way to catch up with colleagues!
World Diabetes Day
Yesterday was World Diabetes Day. It marks the birthday of Sir Frederick Banting who co-discovered insulin 98 years ago. This year's theme is "Diabetes: protect your family".
